Wine Country Harvest: September 26 – September 30, 2012
When we first moved to this valley, it was all about walnuts, pears, and prunes. Through the years these orchards have been replaced with world famous vineyards. Much to the credit of the growers, they are laid out in beautiful patterns that welcome the eye of any photographer. We have met and known many of the growers and managers and thus have access to vineyards and views that are beyond the eye and accessibility of the casual tourist. Harvest is exciting. Not only are the grapes heavy on the vine, but the human energy involved in harvesting these fruits makes exciting opportunities—not only for the experience, but for the photo opportunities as well. We photograph both Napa and Sonoma vineyards and are based out of Santa Rosa, Ca.
